Odie and his closest companion Irene are two untouchables who locate a second home in the Philippine underground music scene. The two choose to frame a band and set up together an impossible group that comprises of the school spook, an ex-punk-turned-barista, and a previous childstar-turned-band-chief. The film takes after their misfortunes presently otherworldly S&M groups, samurai swindlers, narcissistic rockstars, the affected Philippine craftsmanship group and the freakiest music feature auteur ever. Co-composed by Diego Castillo, the guitarist of one of the Philippines' greatest rock groups SANDWICH, and coordinated by multi-granted music feature chief Quark Henares, Rakenrol is a sincere tribute to the underground scene both producers spent their developmental years in.
