John Lloyd Cruz feels sad on MMFF snub

Bankable performing artist John Lloyd Cruz feels miserable that his up and coming motion picture, "Honor Thy Father," did not make it to the official rundown of passages in the current year's Metro Manila Film Celebration (MMFF).

The performing artist said he was anticipating the screening of "Honor Thy Father" in the MMFF, accepting that there are individuals who are searching for this kind of film.

Still, Cruz said he regards the choice of the advisory group.

Naniwala talaga kami na mayroong ano, na mayroong naghahanap ng ganitong klaseng pelikula sa ganoong panahon, sa MMFF season," he said in a meeting with ABS-CBNnews.com and different journalists on Thursday on the arrangement of "Maalaala Mo Kaya" in Bataan. "Malayo siguro sa criteria na mayroon ang MMFF, and we thoroughly regard that. Siyempre, hindi naman kami ang council, sila ang board of trustees so they get the chance to choose."

"Pero nanghihinayang lang kami kasi we truly need the story to be out there at mapanood ng madaming tao. In any case, on the other hand, backpedaling to their criteria, we didn't make it so we simply proceed onward," he included.

Cruz went ahead to express his contemplations about the yearly film celebration.

At the point when asked when "Honor Thy Father" will be demonstrated in silver screens, Cruz said: "Wala eh, wala [akong idea].
